Air-cooled chillers with multi-scroll compressors

Our SBS–SBSF Series consists of air-cooled liquid chillers engineered for industrial applications and outdoor installation. These units are designed for operations that demand high reliability, continuous performance, superior efficiency, and reduced management costs.

These cooling systems are available with Shell & Tube or Brazed Plate evaporators. On request, all models can be supplied with one or two water pumps—making them suitable for water–glycol mixtures—as well as an integrated storage tank to ensure precise temperature control even under highly variable process thermal loads.

With cooling capacities of up to 1288 kW, these units can meet a wide range of customer requirements. The available refrigerants include R410A, R454B, and R32. Thanks to advanced fan speed regulation, all units can operate reliably in ambient temperatures as low as -20°C.

With integrated free-cooling coils, our SBSF Series offers significant energy savings, especially in low ambient conditions or when operating with high process-side fluid temperatures.

The SBSF-OPT Series is an enhanced version of the SBSF line, delivering even higher energy efficiency through its specially designed free-cooling coil system.

The SBS-MC Series features modular air-cooled liquid chillers designed for industrial use and outdoor installation. These models are ideal for applications requiring reduced refrigerant charge for a more environmentally responsible footprint. All models are equipped with Brazed Plate evaporators and use R410A, R454B, or R32 refrigerants.

All units come with an IP54 electrical protection rating. Every chiller is thoroughly tested at the Yardley Ashton production facility before shipment to ensure optimal performance, high reliability, and continuous operation. On request, units can also be tested inside a Climatic Chamber.
